Everyone is saying it - but most, including myself are not heeding it.  Short form content is no longer enough to move the needle anymore - bigger is indeed better!  

I myself have been weighing this up, moving away from the short, easy to consume 600-800 word blogs into some beefier, 1800+ word posts, less frequently to see how it would impact my own website for both traffic and importantly leeds.  

John Jantsch outlines here both the why and how that this would make perfect sense.  Leveraging it both as the starter, main course and desert (blog, download, presentation) content wise for visitors.  Excellent ideas to make the leap towards Epic (or 10x content as Moz would call it) Content.
